David Gilmour, no question. I mean sure, Richards had a killer knack for riffs, but Gilmour infuses his playing with so much emotion and feeling he leaves Richards far behind.

I'm not big on either guitarist or their respective bands. I like The Rolling Stones more than Pink Floyd, but as far as guitar work goes I'd say Gilmour is more interesting. Gonna go with him.

Give me Richards any day. At this point, most of my votes are on taste, since the guitarists left are all gods in their own domain.

While I'm not a fan of either, I went with David Gilmour by a bit because I'm more into his style than Richards. Richards isn't even the best guitarist in the Stones; Mick Taylor was a lot better.

This, though I don't think of either Taylor or Richards as being particularly noteworthy.

Yeah this. not to devalue Gilmour as being anything less than an immensely talented guitarist, but honestly come on people
