Innercity Griots, and I'm not sure I could feel more strongly on the matter. I listened to Innercity Griots for the first time about a month ago, and it instantly became one of my absolute favorites. Since then, I've pretty much listened to it nonstop, and unless there's some drastic shift in my tastes in the next few weeks, it's probably fair to say it'll be in my top 10, or even higher, on my next chart update. It's just a fucking dope album. It's jazzy, abstract, full-on psychedelic in places, scary at times, and the raps are technically stunning, not to mention incredibly unique. There's so much variety, the beats are dope as hell, and none of the songs seem to follow a terribly orthodox structure. Oh, and the last verse of "Way Cool" is one of the scariest things I've ever heard, which is obviously a plus.
As for NNN, I really wanted to enjoy it, because it's certainly one of the more unique hip-hop albums I've heard, but it's just not very good. It has its moments, but it stalls frequently and is pretty inconsistent.
So yeah, not a terribly hard choice for me.

I can't make any reasonable argument against Innercity Griots so I won't even try. It's a masterpiece and one of the all-time greats. Personally I'm voting NNN but I won't care in the least if it goes down this round

Innercity Griots
Not big on either, but my choice had a few great spots.

Innercity Griots, which is one of my favorites of the tournament. I love Dalek even more than Fellowship, but Negro Necro Nekros is one of their weaker albums. I think that Absence of From Filthy Tongue of God and Griots (another Griots title) should have been nominated instead. If you like NNN, I highly recommend that you listen to Absence, which is one of my favorite albums of all time.
