Voting Pac, though I could have gone either way. The Cold Vein is a more cohesive album, a record that is more technically impressive in terms of rapping and production and creating its own universe, but no rapper was ever as heartfelt as Pac, and Me Against the World might be his finest moment.

It's very easy to bash Tupac. That's unfortunate - this album is great.

Pac is the only one of the big name rappers from the '90s that I just have never, ever been able to get into. Cannibal Ox, on the other hand, always wait patiently at the periphery of my music listening habits for the perfect opportunity to come on and remind me that they're one of the best alternative hip hop groups I've ever heard

I love both, but The Cold Vein does more for me and has more standout tracks.
