Two users I’ve come to know quite well, and I won’t deny it being a difficult choice. I think I’m going to go for Rocky here since while we talk less than I do with Suede he was one of the first people on site that I started talking to— and he’s one of the few people here that like power metal in the same way I do, so that is always a plus.
I think someone commented last year how SuedeSwede tended to blend with some of the other younger users on the forums. I definitely don't think that's true this year -- he's really carved out a musical identity for himself and his charts would be one of my first choices for an indie pop listening spree. I also enjoyed chatting with him during the short-lived RYM listening project.
Still, I gotta go with my Maryland/Beatles-loving/join-month buddy, Rocky.

Yeah this is what makes voting seem needless, nothing but positive vibes from either of them throughout the forums and each vital to BEA in their own way. Perhaps we should move to challenge-based matchups instead of just knockout voting 🤔
