- Post subject: How many of the BEA Top 1,000 do you own? How many heard?

Simple question. I'm actually going through the Top 1,000 systematically and have gotten through about 400. Can't say I always agree with BEA's tastes but I certainly have been turned on by some album discoveries. How about you — How many of the BEA Top 1,000 do you own? How many have you heard?

According to BEA, I own 138 of our top 1,000 in my physical collection (I'm kinda surprised about how high that number is to be honest...).
And I haven't heard 78 of them.... and out of those 78, I plan to listen to maybe...2.

19 of the top 1000 I have yet to listen. Not sure on the owned amount as I sell and move things around so much I can not keep track.

I have 790 left on the chart.
Yeeeeeah, I'm trying to keep one foot in the cinephile world and one in the audiophile world and I think I'm failing at both.

I only keep track of albums I own on vinyl for this site, so I currently own only 16 on vinyl. 😕
Anyway, I've yet to hear 646 out of the top 1000, that's a lot.

It's been about a year since I started, and so far I own 197 of these and have heard 402..

201 I haven't heard, but unless I get the urge to explore the discographies of Muse, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Yes, etc., I don't expect that number to change much going forward.
