Isn't this the consensus pick for the best album among regular users? If so, what is there to say? It's the perfect soundtrack for the disenchanted, hyperliterate oddball that we all knew, that we were, or that we are. It's terrifically written, and pretty infallible.

Track picks
1. The Stars Of Track And Field
4. Like Dylan In The Movies
6. Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying
7. If You're Feeling Sinister
10. Judy And The Dream Of Horses

While it's not my favourite album anymore and it may be a little too hyped by the community at this point, I still really love it.

Musically, it's the most exciting and colorful album by Belle and Sebastian, that's why it's my favorite.

Is that type of album that tells you: "everything is fine", in a sort of sad way.

Underrated on the overall chart if you ask me. Easily one of the top 10 albums of the 90s; deserves to be in the top 100. If OK Computer is the Revolver of the 90s, then If You're Feeling Sinister is the Pet Sounds of the 90s. Shorter and sweeter but pretty much just as good. Not a single dull track; every song is a high point.

It's a great album. Difficult to separate from Tigermilk.

I'm never quite sure which i prefer; Tigermilk or If You're Feeling Sinister. Eh, i guess they're both pretty equal.
