Great job with the tournament Revolver, but I have to be honest, I think we ended up with a bit of a dud of a final 😕 Both of these songs are fantastic, and I'll be voting for Summertime, but I don't think either deserves to win. Slightly bummed out that Move On Up and California Love weren't in the top 4 too 🙁
But ah well, all in good fun 😄

Good Vibrations should've made it to the final, now I regret not voting in the last few matches.
Anyway, voted for Endless Summer, though I had absolutely zero expectations for it getting this far. Meanwhile, Bottle Rocket got kicked out way too early. Oh well.
Aside from my own nominations, 'Summertime' was my choice for the entire tournament. So yeah, that. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
I want to thank WBBQ out of Augusta, GA, for playing "Summertime" non-stop during the summer of '91. I spent all summer building dirt jumps for my bike out behind the apartment complex. I got hassled by the cops after I found a slingshot in the woods behind the Mormon church. I even had my first kiss that summer, with a girl who called herself "Rebecca" even though her name was Rosemary.
