The worlds most hated guitar player gets his own Fender amp and Strat (finally?):

I happen to think he's pretty rad though, my favorite being from Achtung Baby (end of the world/love is blindness) with a runner up of bullet the blue sky (at 5 minutes):

I'd say it's relatively safe to say that Ted Nugent holds the titles of "most hated guitar player", but The Edge is close

This video helped me recently actually like their latest album (I hated it when it first came out and that's coming from a U2 "fan"). I think it helps convey what maybe the albums lyrics often talk about and bring context to it at least.

I don't know... sometimes I feel they are given this these guys are fake rubbish, and then you realize that they lived through stuff like this. Bono comes from a family whose mom was a Protestant and his father a Catholic. I think if nothing else... they had real life experiences that I think allows them to be more of an artist than most people allow them to be... yes Bono talks too big sometimes... but he's an imaginative person, that's what they do...

Anyway, if nothing else this musical short (it's kind of a music video and kind of a short... so not how to describe it) which was not done by U2 is really good in my opinion. It's worth a look.

I meant to say thanks for sharing this... it was a bit memorizing and interesting. I think it fits really well at times and at times it could have been any old movie they put this over.
