Bought Space Ways by Sun Ra with an exclusive blue/white variant. Also bought this on vinyl finally:

I've yet to participate in this... seems like it's special releases that are expensive and other than that regular old day at the record shop?
I did read this today on the interwebs and thought it cool:
We can thank an independent record store for REM! In 1980 Michael Stipe met Peter Buck at Wuxtry Records in Athens Georgia, where Peter worked! And Wuxtry is still thriving-

For me:
Move Along - All American Rejects (RSD repress smoky /3000)
RSD Split -Low/S Carey (RSD exclusive white /4000)
either/or - Elliott Smith (recent repress)
I Wish I Could Stay Here - Basement (red/white marble /3000)
Bridge and Tunnel Soundtrack - Various Artists (random color, /50 but each is it's own unique color)
Pickups for other people (in other words found then sold for face value+shipping):
Disquaire Day - Twenty One Pilots (RSD exclusive /7500)
Another (Demo) One - Mac Demarco (RSD exclusive /1000)
Ghost/Acoustic EP - Seahaven (3rd press either /500, /500, or /2000, going to let my friend find out)
Spent more than I would have liked but glad to at least have a chunk of that money back in my paypal.

I love Randy's Records in SLC and Ameoba and CD Trader in LA.
