I mean I like Blur, more than their counterpart Oasis, but come on they've never made a classic like Strokes did with Is This It.. And I know you don't like them, but I really didn't expect to be in a minority here... (and fuck, there goes my forth choice in the row - the three I voted for earlier were all eliminated)

sorry to get so antsy over this but I hate that it seems like whenever Blur is mentioned Oasis needs to get mentioned as well I mean 'Counterpart'? come on. Anyway here's a track from their 'classic' that leaves Is This It in the dust.
Ok I know that the whole Blur vs Oasis thing was over in about 1995/6, and that Blur did a lot more even after that era (unlike Oasis).. But it was apparently some sort of a big battle between the two and I just wanted to say that I think they were a better band at the time (and of course later as well)..

Actually in terms of songs I might even prefer Sing to anything by The Strokes, but as I said.. None of the Blur albums, at least from those I've heard, come close to Is this it...
You Only Live Once is actually fantastic and might be my favourite track of theirs full stop, so great choice. (also interesting and obscure yet inspired choice with sing)
