Which albums do you have with some surround features on them? Which albums do you want to be converted to surround in some way?

Here are the surround-sound albums that I own:
*Avril Lavigne-Under My Skin (DualDisc, surprisingly amazing)
*Weird Al-Straight Out Of Lynwood (DualDisc)
*Nine Inch Nails-With Teeth (DualDisc)
*Pink Floyd-DSOTM (SA-CD)

As for albums that I'd love to be converted to Surround...
*Tori Amos-From the Choirgirl Hotel
*Arcade Fire-Funeral
*Neutral Milk Hotel-In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
*Smashing Pumpkins-Siamese Dream

What about you?

Personally I don't like surround sound when listening to music....It's a commercial gimmick...I'm happy with my naim amps and CD player and my B&W speakers.

I imagine the perfect listening experience to be as if my favourite artist is playing live in front of me and a good recording, I think, takes you into the same room as the performer without it
sounding artifical.

5.1 is great for games and films, but I just don't think it works for popular music where the live experience is to listen to a band playing in front of you (it might work better for orchestral works, but I've not tried.)
