Yeah they were - didn't realise they were going to come up against each other though. I did think the selections were meant to be a bit more random! 😢

Once again I must be odd man out 🤣
I know Prodigy is supposed to be better, and probably is.
But for me personally, I am going with Foxbase Alapha

And Iron Maiden was named after a box that kills people when you close the door.
This is fun playing what is the story behind the name of the band.
Not quite sure what it has to do with the quality of the music the band makes but.

I voted for the Prodigy but I also really like Foxbase Alpha! They are both on my chart!
I am not happy that they came up against each other in the first round - but that is how it rolls I suppose.
I actually wish I had voted for St Etienne because the Prodigy was going to win whatever! I really nearly abstained but that would be silly...
Gary - I am very happy you voted for Foxbase Alpha - it is a fantastic and very underrated album. They are a great band - a bit twee - but fun. And I feel like a rotten traitor at the moment! 😢
