She's a pop princess who already has the presence of a budding rock star. But she loves to rock out too. She's kina a Tom Boy and is super artsy.

What albums and singles should I turn her onto? She actually really likes a lot of the mellow zone stuff I play all the time especially that Bill Callahan album. So she's got good taste! lol.

Anyways, any recs would be awesome. I'm going to build her her own playlist on Spotify for when we're doing chores & shit.

Peace!

YES! This song was a huge part of my childhood. The first kids album (NO!) is great too, but quite silly. That's TMBG though, so...

Nice! This is exactly what I'm looking for. I haven't thought about TMBG in ages, but they'd b perfect for my kids.

Particle man, Anna Ang, all that stuff... Very Happy

Man I can't wait to get married and have kids...

Knowing how you're gonna make a mix I'll just name fun or quirky tracks, I'll be considerate of lyrics

A-punk- Vampire Weekend
God Help The Girl - God Help The Girl
Superspy - Save Ferris
Cousins - Vampire Weekend
Island In The Sun - Weezer
Bubble Toes - Jack Johnson (Here is something fun, if she asks why the name it's because your feet bubble up if you surf for long periods of time)
Holiday - Vampire Weekend
Spam - Save Ferris (This is so funny)
Yellow - Coldplay (I know you don't like these guys but my dad hates Radiohead and I have my cravings haha. One day my child is gonna start listening to Panic at the crisco and I'm gonna be so bent:/)
Drive - Incubus (I grew up with this one myself)

I know some of these are pretty popular but TMBG was taken already plus I never know :l

Nice! These are great picks. I don't know some of these so will check them out with her. I actually like Yellow by Coldplay. I think that was one of their first singles. Again, I thought Parachutes was okay. It was just their next album that didn't jibe with me and then it got crazily overplayed. It's like when your a little kid and u develop an aversion to a particular food for whatever reason and then your parents get the great idea of forcing you to eat it.Over & over again. It only makes everything WORSE! lol.

Peace, brother!
