I want to add #1 Record/Radio City by Big Star to my chart but I think the backslash mucks something up in the system because I'm never able to add it in. Is there any way to get around this?

Both of those albums are already in the data base. Don't think a twofer should be listed as a seperate album.

Well, there's a specific compilation that combines the two albums, is the only reason I bring it up. Here's the proof: http://www.amazon.com/1-Record-Radio-Ci...amp;sr=8-1

Sorry about the problem. It looks like it's being caused by the hash sign. As a temporary workaround, just add the album without the hash, and it'll be corrected afterwards from the admin system. I've added the bug to this month's changes, so it'll be fixed shortly.

I own that album. Why should it be listed as a different album from the two it is made? Following that logic, are we now adding all albums with different titles and additional tracks?

The slash mark hasn't been a problem listing other albums that are legitimate. See Speakerboxxx/The Love Below-OutKast and Something/Anything-Todd Rundgren for examples.

No. Double releases are a bit of an anomaly and fall under the same category as box-sets (personally. I'd prefer not to see them).

it's the hash,
not the slash,
that's causing the crash

Confused

in American English the hash is called the pound sign... (but that means something else if you live outside US).
