Does anybody else listen to mix albums a lot? I've always been obsessed with mix albums, even though great ones are few and far between. Do you have a favorite one? It could be any kind of music. House, techno, chill, drum n bass, hip hop. Anything.

Used to listen to them all the time. Not so much recently. Always loved hearing a good mix and the more eclectic the better. In recent years I've enjoyed the late night tales series. Put some of my favourites on my v/a chart. I doubt I'll ever hear anything to match the genius of this Coldcut mix. Also the coldcut related solid steel radio has plenty free downloads of their shows which are worth hearing.

Have you heard of Aerosmith?

Laughing

Just kidding - I had a buddy give me this album and I liked it and a non-techhead.

I'm not a fan of trance at all. It's my least favorite kind of electronic music, but Paul Van Dyk made a great album in the late 90s or early 2000s, and of the tons of electronic albums I have in my charts, it's the only trance album. I still like it. And I haven't heard another trance album that even comes close to it. Although trance has greatly improved over the years from what it used to be. I should probably start listening to some more. Id' probably find more that I like.

I don't get the Aerosmith joke though. Think Think Think

It is an awesome mix indeed. I need to put it back in my chart. I'm not sure why it's not there anymore.
