What do you think of their results? I think Kanye should of gotten the hip hop win and Robyn the queen one but that's just what i think.

Well, you must remember that most of these rankings for this contest are based on sales (or at least it seemed that way; correct me if I'm wrong). So in that regard, it's not surprising at all that Eminem got it.

In the same way, Paul McCartney would probably be a better "King of Pop" than Michael Jackson, but the latter sold a lot more.

Yeah, can't be too suprised that Lady gaga won as well.

Rolling Stone didn't decide anything they were attempting to make it objective by calculating together various stats including sales, youtube views etc etc

Gaga being Queen and Kanye not being King is just disgusting as it is.

I was at one point going to try and apply this method to other genres but really it should only be used for pop.

The results were only for the current king and queen (1/2009-7/2011).

Ya, true.

But it's (technically) readers choice, because it's based on sales (i think.. ๐Ÿซข ) ๐Ÿ™„ What would you expect other than those 2 being on top?

We all know Kanye's king ๐Ÿ˜‰ There's even a little picture of him wearing a crown in MBDTF ๐Ÿคฃ

If this was taken back in 2000 or so than I would fully support Eminem as king.
