Edit: also check out this guys classical performances for sure. I've heard him playing every single part of a classical piece on the trumpet simultaneously (on a recording), amazing!

I was thinking lots of artists do drugs, but Wynton Marsalis is very conservative, so its a coin toss for me....

Many artists do drugs, but like you said, Marsalis is conservative -- in his music, opinions and clothes (though probably not politically), and probably religious too -- so he's one of the least likely jazz musicians have a drug problem.
