When do the 2018 publications charts go live? I see for 2017, there's LOADS of the year end charts from "trustworthy" publications such as Drowned in Sound, Pitchfork, NME, Rolling Stone (lol), etc... but only one for 2016 and 2015.... did somebody upload them all last year, and / or will 2018's go live after the year is up?

Yeah, it was me that last year uploaded all those Recognised Charts Very Happy I was unemployed and had a lot of time!

Fortunately this year I have less time, but I'll start today to add just a few of the most recognized sites.

I hope the site has an update in this section, so it can be easier to add recognized sites.

Do these recognised charts count toward the overall chart scores?

Yup (not all publication lists do, but the ones you mentioned above count). There's a few rules, but I'm not familiar with them. Think age has something to do with it.

the best way to add these external lists is to add them as a custom chart and then I can promote them to a recognized list, and they can then count towards BEA's 2018 chart (please PM me if you add any in case I miss them)

If you can fast track me to Level 7 I will gladly do this at the weekend - I'm working a night shift and I'll have hours and hours to spare.

Cool, cool. I could get on The Quietus, Pitchfork and TinyMixTapes asap. Would you be open to Bandcamp's list counting? Less of a publication, but certainly not less music heard by the staff.

I like having those lists on the site (regardless if they count for points) for the sake of our 'show unlistened' feature. Def makes things a little easier to pick out from a bunch.

Huge thanks go out to all the people who add these to the site. It really helps lend some legitimacy to the overall rankings.

Thanks to everyone for adding various external 2018 charts. If anyone adds any more, you can also bring them to attention by going to the admin page for the chart (by clicking this icon on the individual chart pages ) and selecting 'The chart should be promoted to a recognised chart' from the list of moderation reasons (a URL to the source website should be supplied so that the chart can be verified). Many thanks.

(EDIT: @Hayden: Bandcamp is fine as we have their 2017 list)
