Remains in my handful of favorite albums of all time. Lo-fi perfection. I don't think I've ever heard another indie folk album that masters the simplicity of just a voice and an acoustic guitar (with an occasional other stringed instrument) like this does. This is a snapshot of Sam Beam as a master of his craft. Listen to this album while you sit outside in the shade sipping your favorite drink on a warm day. You won't regret it. Also, the B sides from this era found on "Around The Well" further prove the bounty of masterpieces being written by Beam around this time.
