Actually pretty easy vote for Idles, easily one of my favorites (from the past couple years honestly), more eventful if more polished than their previous stuff. I liked Be the Cowboy a lot and had it's moments of greatness, but not quite the masterpiece it was made out to be and in my dumb opinion I prefered Puberty 2 but I hate things just become they become popular so there we go.
Still honestly prefer Idles, by quite a bit

idles is one of the more overstated young acts out there and mitski is a gold-spinning songwriter with more depth to her. easy pick for mitski.

I was disappointed by BTC after the masterpiece that was Puberty 2, but Idles isn't my thing at all so vote to Mitski, with the caveat that she operates in a genre that simply appeals more to my sensibilities.
