I thought it was going to be an easy slam dunk for Sigur Ros. Then I really listened to the competition and got conflicted. Then I listened to the competition again and voted for it.
Maybe it's just nostalgia talking, but I'm going with T&S, like the combination of the lyric's simplicity and interesting, divergent paths the music takes... and maybe because I just am not a fan of Sigur Ros with a few exceptions, but this isn't one of them.
I definitely listened to that Tegan and Sara album quite a bit when it came out, but never liked "Walking The Ghost" nearly as much as some other tracks.
Love Sigur Ros and Hoppiopolla, though the song has been overused in TV and movies over the past decade _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Same boat. I would definitely vote Nineteen, Back In Your Head, maybe a few others. Ghost.... not really into it. I’ll have to relisten to both tracks, but I’m leaning towards Sigur Ros atm. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
Eerie twin sister vocals that you just can't get anywhere else
That bass tone is the shiz
In the words of the 2000s - the rhythm is TIGHT... not but seriously the guitar and drums are super rhythmically tight.
And it just weeves this simple sounding, but actually pretty complex polyphonic thing going on with more instruments than you realize.
I actually really like some Sigur Ros and this track was a bit meh for me to be honest. But I'll go put my tail between my legs or something now.
