I think this site should implement a system that brings attention to albums with a minimal amount of ratings. Sort of like the album of the day thing, but specifically for albums with <100 ratings or so.
There's literally thousands of albums with <100 ratings so the problem is how to surface these without some sort of filter (unless you genuinely want to see everything). There are already daily posts with album/chart of the day which some people already feel is too much, so a third post probably wouldn't be too popular here. BEA could look at adding extra filters to the top rated or overall chart to allow sorting with the lowest number of ratings first but I'm not sure how much utility that would provide but it's definitely something I'll add to the list.
