It always kinda baffles me that Jon Hopkins is the house/tech producer that seems to have crossed over most successfully with indie fans in the past few years, and his maximalist, consciously anthemic, peak-trough-peak productions leave me kinda cold, but three listens later and I still cannot get into that other song either (sorry mecca).
Might come back to this later but am underwhelmed by both. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
