It would be intresting to have a thread about bad album covers. Like who would have designed something like this? It is all red and if you want someone to listen to your album make something interesting.

I will give this album a listen now to see what it is like. Teen Dream was pretty good.

I quite like the album cover. And the albums isn't too bad either.

I think the album cover is great, because the color is the perfect representation of the chromesthesia this album evokes. And the minimal approach to the art correlates with the minimal approach Beach House took instrumentally on this album. The songs feel kinda skeletal, but they still feel so sugary sweet and mellow. I think the album cover reflects that perfectly. Plus, the physical cover is made of felt which is really cool.

I love this album. It's my second favorite Beach House album behind 7. I appreciate the more psychedelic approach that the duo take on this record and especially 7. I know everyone points to Bloom and Teen Dream as the best Beach House records, and while I do adore both of those records, I think Depression Cherry and 7 are really something special. I think the highs on both 7 and Depression Cherry are better than the highs on Bloom or Teen Dream. I am engaged throughout the durations of both 7 and Depression Cherry, but there are moments on Teen Dream and Bloom I kind of zone out to.

That's just my opinion, though.
