This record manages to use just about every musical reference that I hate (those Supertramp keyboards !) and somehow make them delightful. What a great record.

I don't get it - Why are Daft Punk (and this album in particular) being praised as something "artistic", while lots of other music in the same style is considererd as being dumb and "non artistic".

Attitude ? I don't think of this album as "artistic" or "non-artistic" personally (I'd be very embarrassed to define those terms anyway), but I find it thoroughly enjoyable. Which other "music in the same style" are you thinking about ?

Really, guys, most of my homeschool friends think Crazy Frog is great music, yet they love this record as much as the geeks at Pitchfork (who happened to consider this baby the 4th best of the 2000's). At no time that I can directly think of in recent memory has something been so universally loved by all groups. And deservedly so.

#65 on my chart BTW.
