What kind of music would you rather The Weeknd and Dua Lipa make? Are you a bigger fan of their other work?

Still not like other girls I see 😉

I enjoyed Duas latest even if I think it's being overpraised, thought I see more late 70s disco\turn of the millennium pop-house influence with minimal 80s touches thrown in . I agree though that in general we need to let this 80s fetish fuck ing die already, it's been going on for a decade and a half and it's straight-jacketinng modern pop culture.

Haven't heard the Weeknds latest

While there are some tracks off the recent Weeknd album, that do sound like 80's inspired like In Your Eyes. It sounds more like a modern album. Hell Too Late sounds more late 2000's early 2010's with it's 2 step drum patterns and ambience. But that's just me. Also After Hours is such a good album.

The Weeknd's trilogy of mixtapes received immense critical acclaim...

If you all can't tell I've began losing my mind to some extent. 🤣

TBH both of their albums would be good for a party. I just can't believe this trend has been going on for this long.

As soon as I heard Blinding Lights, which really is a great song, I immediately thought of this.
