According to BEA the best artist of the 70's was Black Sabbath who also holds the number 9 spot for the best artists of the 70's whilst Pink Floyd is considered the best artist of the 70's but is not represented in the top twenty list over the best artists in the 70's even though they currently have the #1 album , the #2 album and the #6 album of that decade.

No need to apologize. When I'm in by mac there is a random (?) listing popping up on the right. That's where i spotted this; the one with Black Sabbath on top.

I’m guessing the random list was the best artists of 1970, not the 1970s.

Now there is a need for an apology! I do these mistakes more frequently these days. Kinda scaring. Age or Isolation, perhaps both. I'm so sorry. There is though an element of very mild irritation that sparked this sad attempt and that is that I think the list of best artists based on the order of the albums each year is somewhat strange and waste of spasish. There is already too much statistics atop of many pages here (and I love statistics). I would prefer the tidyness we would get by implementing a statistics-button most/more places. Then come to think of it this might be an issue on mac only as I suspect the Iphone-experience is far neater. Perhaps this already is work in progress. If that is the case I hereby apologise once more in advance.
