Jacklin. While I enjoyed Darling's effort, it didn't make my favorite albums of the year list yet Crushing did (albeit in the lower half-end).

Just gave Saint-Guidon another listen and liked it even more than my first listen. It moves into my top 100 for 2019 and above Julia Jacklin. So even though it pains me to vote against Julia, Charlene gets my vote.

Darling, again I just found the more thoroughly compelling and dynamic release, while Jacklin's effort felt rather top-heavy and ended up losing interest a bit too early
