This album is nuts. Some really strange sound combinations going on. Twangy country guitar meets post-bop chord sequences, glam rock stomp, and smooth soft rock production. Definitely one of the best Dan albums. ‘King of the World’, ‘Your Gold Teeth’, ‘Show Biz Kids’, ‘Razor Boy’ are some of my favourite Dan songs. I’ve been on a huge Dan kick in recent months, to the point I’d say about 50% of all music I listen to now is them. They are life. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs.
