Bob Dylan deservedly has his place as one of the most important people in rock & roll music and this is his greatest album. Ranked #20 on my chart but among those albums up there it's really the mood of the day that decides which is better. I wouldn't be complaining if this was ranked #1 on the aggregate chart. Great stuff.

This album really cooled me off from continuing with my Dylan's discography exploration after the good Highway 61 Revisited and the very good Blonde on Blonde

My favorite album by him. One of the better personal album I've heard and "Tangled Up in Blue" is my favorite Dylan song, if not his best as well.

Every once in a while I have to change which Bob Dylan is on my chart and this reminded me that it's definitely BotT's turn. "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go," "Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts," "Shelter From the Storm" and "Buckets of Rain" are unimpeachable.
