i don't think it has been ignored lately. Although i only watch Al Jazzera so i don't know about Amercian media. Having said that after watching Al Jazzera i can't stand other news channels

thats why i said 'although having said that' anyway it is a huge media network so i think my comment is still relevant. Unless you wish to restrict this to only american media?

You assume that I only check "American" media which would be incorrect.

Also, the mass media outlets are global.

gary there was no need to go off like that. You said. How could i know anything about the topic when all i watch is Al Jazzera. All i did was offer my thoughts on their coverage of Fukushima., which you implied was somehow irrelvant.

Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on the Fukushima reactors melting down I would love to hear them Very Happy


I'm 46 years old and I don't remember the Japanese people ever protesting anything. It's just not part of their culture. So I would have to assume the people living in japan feel that this is certainly a big deal.

O.K. let me get this straight. People are all for the bombings and killing of innocent people in Libya as NATO "helps" the people there Rolling Eyes

But they do not care about the children in Japan who are being exposed to very high amounts of radiation while the Japanese government does nothing for them and is just trying to sweep it all under a rug.
