I'm 46 years old and I don't remember the Japanese people ever protesting anything. It's just not part of their culture. So I would have to assume the people living in japan feel that this is certainly a big deal.
O.K. let me get this straight. People are all for the bombings and killing of innocent people in Libya as NATO "helps" the people there
But they do not care about the children in Japan who are being exposed to very high amounts of radiation while the Japanese government does nothing for them and is just trying to sweep it all under a rug.
