You know the one. The really huge thread. The one that's kind of become the center of BEA. The one with over 200,000 replies and 7 million views. The one that's been sitting on page one for going on 15 years.

The one that when I first came to BEA, EVERYONE posted on. That thread was always going, and the conversations about albums were always happening. And most importantly, it was the one place where you could go to see what people were listening to. You could have conversations if you wanted to. You could also just stop in, drop whatever you happened to be listening to at the time, and bolt.
Well, that thread is, as I'm sure you're all aware, still alive and kicking. It still gets a lot of traffic...far more than anyplace else here. It's not even close. It truly is, IMO, the centerpiece of BEA. And it doesn't have the issues it did in the early days, when you had to paste images and hope they were visible to everyone. Now, you can link directly to the album's BEA page.
For me, this is the place where I get recs. I see more albums on that thread than I do anywhere else, and I know which people on BEA I can trust my tastes to (everyone is different). And I find people with similar tastes there more than anywhere else.
But it could be more. There are a handful of people keeping that thread alive (I personally thank all of those folks!). I don't know if it became uncool to post there...but if people started coming back to it, it could again be a really cool and vital place for members to come together here. The games are awesome, but when there are no games, there isn't much else. The thread that I am referring to (LINK BELOW) is, IMO, the best spot we have to share the thing that brought each and every one of us here...what album are you listening to right now? Not to mention that it's a pretty easy to access piece of BEA history...
I love that thread. To me, it's the heartbeat of BEA. It is my hope that more BEA users put their fingers on that pulse. Let's share the thing we love doing the most! We have the perfect tool to do it with. Posting takes seconds. Let's see what you are all up to in the area that we are all here for!
The more people who use that thread, the more interesting it becomes.
