It accomplishes what it set out to accomplish, being that it's a collection of great pop songs.

Shows why the 80's were probably the best decade for pop.

THE Perfect pop album ! 25# in my chart.

i wish i had 20 years old in 1982, just to listen to this album when it came out Razz Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean and P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) in a single album ! that's crazy Shocked .
you have to be simply stupid not to recognize (objectively) that this is one of the greatest albums of all time !

I was 10 when this came out, and everybody here was all over the place. I still like it very much, particularly "Wanne Be Startin' Something", a hell of a dance machine.

Haven't had any desire to listen to this for a long time. I think I had this on cassette. Billy Jean and Thriller were the songs I liked. At that time, Micheal Jackson was on MTV all the time.
I think the Beatles were around at the time television was taking of, and Micheal Jackson and G and R were around when MTV was launching.

I don't see myself repurchasing this album. If I want micheal jackson I'll look up his videos on you-tube.
