Fun fact: did you know that Sam Mendes, the director of American Beauty, is directing the next 007 movie?
I'm personally hoping for a return to the Roger Moore-era goofiness, as Quantum of Solace regressed into pretty much just another run-of-the-mill Borne-rip-off action movie.

I really don't like American Beauty. Full Metal Jacket, while not my favourite Kubrick film, is haunting.

I find both to be quite overrated in the pantheon of film Think buuuuuut I'llg o with American Beauty A) because of it's great lead performance and B) because it's currently getting slaughtered.
