Post subject: What is your favorite new track released this week?
This will be a thread you can post in every week after the new music is released. I don't know when music is released in other countries, but in the United States, new music is released every Friday at 12:00AM. So, here where I am, this week's new releases came out several hours ago. My favorite new track released this week is "Won't Be Me" by Lauren, Amber & Kenna.
I missed last week, but I really didn't have a favorite track released last week. This week I have 3 favorites. The first is the first single and title track from Joseph Habedank's upcoming album, which will be released in August. It will be the second album by Joseph Habedank released in 2024. His last album "Autobiography" was released in April. The song is called "I'm Free". Here's a live version.
I also really enjoyed two other newly released songs this week. One is George Benson's cover of "A Song for You" from his upcoming album "Dreams Do Come True: When George Benson Meets Robert Farnon (feat. The Robert Farnon Orchestra)", which will be released in July.
And the other is a song by a group called Wood Box Heroes. They are a new group to me. The song is called "Lay It on Me" and it's from their new album "444" that was released today.
I take back what I said about not having a favorite track released last week. I just realized that one of my new favorites was released last week on June 7th. This is "Diggin Up Graves" by Lee Park Worship & Shane Dunlap and I've been playing it a lot. So I'm a week late, but this is my favorite track from last week.
My favorite track released this week is an instrumental track. It's a new version of Henry Mancini's "Lujon (Slow Hot Wind)" with jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. Henry Mancini would have been 100 years old this year. This song is from the new 7 track release "The 100th Sessions: Henry Has Company", which features new guest performances added to Henry's recordings.

My favorite new track this week is a medley, "We'll Understand it Better By and By / Heaven's Jubilee" by The Collingsworth Family. It was released several hours ago and it's from their upcoming album that I'm looking so forward to, "Classics & Hymns". In addition to the new recorded single that was released, The Collingsworth Family also released this new live video version of the song from their upcoming DVD of the same title.
I didn't have a favorite new song released last week. My favorite new track released this week is the second single from the upcoming Joseph Habedank album. It's called "I'm Lovin' Life. Here is a live version of the song.
