I wasn't aware of a problem with ratings. Which browser are you using?

I'm using Google Chrome 16.x and I'm not seeing an issue with ratings. Are you seeing a problem on a particular page, or across the whole site?

Have you tried pressing CTRL+F5 while on BEA? Sometimes this can fix issues by forcing a fresh download of the scripts (if your browser cache is out of date or corrupted).
