Well.
As I've probably mentioned enough, I'm making an album. Woop.

I've had a few notches here and there, and I've filled up all the bit, etc...and w/e other sayings you can think of.

I'm currently done 8 out of the 10 planned songs Very Happy , but I have 2 that need work.

One is my cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, and the other, is this:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3a9vn1u9endh0ri

The song is currently called nothing. It's just 'This Is A Happy Loss' on the file. That'll be changed.

I had planned for a friend to play a tenor sax solo on it, but recording time was impossible to get to within the deadline. Sad

I play guitar & drums on the track (and Alto of course Cool )

But, here's what I came to ask for:

WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO FILL THE VOID FOR THE SOLO?

You should be able to tell where it is. It's the blank part after the first chorus.

Just inform me if you're interested Smile

Instruments I'm hoping for:

Tenor/ Soprano Sax
Drums
Harmonica
Trumpet

I'm really not hoping for guitar Confused Because the guitar in the song is already pretty prominent, but if anyone has any guitar work that they think may work, I'm interested in still hearing

This is of course just a feeble attempt to get one step further to creating my masterpiece...but the effort is needed nevertheless Razz

And, tell me what you think of the song while you're at it Anxious

(i'm also doing this because I can't get anymore material recorded in time Mr. Green )

Oh, how I wish I could Laughing

Sampling is a lot more complicated than you would think. Even without the royalties/ legal issues of it, which I really don't have the time/money/patients to do.

Unless I could sample something from a song made from the guys around here, I don't think that'll happen Sad

Awesome!

Do you need the Garageband file? Or a WAV version? Or will the compressed version suffice?

Are we talking about the entire song, or just the trumpet part? Think If it's the entire song, I would need a .mid file to get the parts, etc....And I'm using ProTool & Mixcraft for the album, but I think the Garageband file should work...Not sure.

If it's just the trumpet part, a WAV would be appreciated Very Happy . I'll quickly PM my e-mail, etc...
