Continuing on with the 2026 roadmap, the My Charts page has now been modified into a tabbed layout to make custom charts easier to manage and reduce scrolling etc. There are now three separate tabs: 'Overall/decade and year', 'Custom charts' and 'Recognised/promoted charts' (based on ideas in this thread, which became a late addition to this year's roadmap).

The chart editor has also been enhanced with the ability to revert back to a previous version of a chart (e.g. if you make unwanted changes etc and want to restore an older version). (N.B. chart history snapshots are only created/exist if ranks or notes have changed, and not for every minor edit of a chart title etc).

Changes will soon be made to revamp BEAโ€™s daily posts, most likely (at the time of writing) are posts for an anniversary album (instead of AOTD), a trending album from the current year, and 'hot' charts updated by the community (to replace COTD). In terms of the anniversary album, release dates have now been populated for the top 1,000 in the Overall Chart (thanks to all for your help), and the next 1,000 are now being populated to provide deeper coverage for every day of the year. These posts will additionally be made to Instagram (in addition to BEA's existing social media accounts), to help extend BEA's reach. This will likely go live as part of the next site update (in a few weeks time).

Profile pages have been tidied up a little bit as well, in this round of changes, and have been updated to include each user's latest activity. You can drill through to the latest activity page to filter different types of actions (e.g. if you only want to see recent charts or comments, or ratings left by a user etc).

In the background, user onboarding continues to be refined with additional messaging introduced to more closely guide new users after theyโ€™ve registered. This will hopefully help to increase the number of new users that stay on to become regulars. Over the next few site updates, this work on user engagement will continue with established users (for those users who have enabled reminders) in the form of level up notifications, gentle nudges etc (as per the 2026 roadmap).

Other changes
- Added โ€˜upcoming releases" and "BEA trending albums" into the rotation on the site sidebar
- Fix watched topics URL in post reply email
- Fixed bug with admin sources where a lock warning could sometimes be incorrectly displayed
- Member list now shows level numbers instead of posts
- The password change process has been made less clunky (& activation emails can be resent in the event of account lockout or emails not received etc)
- Forum posts should now save more quickly when replying to longer threads
- Added link to more anniversaries in anniversary panel on home page
- Added buttons for subscribing to site newsletter (instead of having to click through to the profile page and finding/changing the relevant setting)

Next up, dark mode, points purchases and premium membership to conclude the Q1 roadmap, but this may take a couple more site updates to get finished.

Enjoy the site and more soon
AM
