Where did he go?
Does anyone know if he still does write ups on the site and/or have a link for it?

I'm wondering if it is okay to name users in your posts but I can't see any harm coming from it so nevermind.
Well they come and go don't they? I suppose Applerill is the one to ask as he seems like he knows 40footwolf outside of the website.

I think the chart says that he doesn't do the forums anymore but he will respond to chart comments. Or at least it did last time I looked.

CJ left because this site wasn't hardcore enough for him.
To be honest, sometimes I feel like that, too.
It's full of too much wimpy freak-folk crap, and not enough doom.
If you want to talk to him, you should message him on RYM.

Agreed. I felt a disturbance in the force the day he stopped posting and wish he would start up again.
But if you are looking for doom then I guess go to rym where as for me at least BEA is a refuge from all the sludge metal etc that absolutely packs their charts over there. And Applerill I thought Charlie N. George was freak-folk

I have never actually been on the site.
Is it similar in size and make up etc?
May take a look

Well, it is freak, but not folk at all. Our early work is Captain Beefheart meets Wesley Willis, and our new album coming soon is like an industrial/sludge metal Hot Rats.
ANYWAY, I actually was referring to indie in general with that post. That includes the fact that The Suburbs is ranked higher than Siamese Dream.
But I shouldn't be talking about that here. CJ's a great guy, and it's a shame he's not going to be imparting his wisdom anymore here. That being said, you guys should check out his blog at www.godsshoeshine.blogspot.com. It's great.
