Jet announced yesterday that they have broken up. After coming out with Get Born in 2003, they stumbled and faltered all the way to the finish line. Shine On was a terrible follow up, and their last album, 2009's Shaka Rock, went pretty much unnoticed through the world outside of Australia. In all, an 11 year career with only 3 albums to show for it, only one of them any good.

But there's always 2003....

They were never a band I got into a whole lot, but some good tunes on that first album for sure. Hope their future projects work out for them.
