I know 'Treasure' well but don't really know 'Apple Venus Volume 1' at all...

Will give that another run through before voting!

I have a feeling Treasure is quite popular on these forums, even though I think Heaven Or Las Vegas and especially Blue Bell Knoll are better.

But even if people don't vote for Apple Venus vol. 1, at least listen to it - that's all that I can ask. XTC continued to make great albums after Skylarking and Apple Venus vol. 1 is their best work. It combines the arrangements of Tchaikovsky, the songwriting of Brian Wilson and pastoral lyricism of Van Morrison all whilst maintaining that XTC tone. Okay so I went a bit hairymarx there Anxious but I guarentee if you listen to this album (more than once, I hated it on first listen) you will like it Mr. Green
