I won't name a song so much as a band: Guided by Voices. I don't think anyone does songs under a minute better than those guys did. They raised song brevity to an art form.

Hit (23 seconds), off Alien Lanes, especially comes to mind, as does Evil Speakers. Frostman is another, Demons are Real off Bee Thousand, and others. Yeah. Check out Guided by Voices. Bright Paper Werewolves is just over a minute. With all the snobby music geeks on here, I can believe I'm seemingly one of the only fans. Many of you are missing out.

Also, Wire has some really, great short songs on Pink Flag (Field Day for the Sundays, It's so Obvious). GBV were influenced by them too.
