Hello ! I was listening to some obscure Swedish band, and checked if there was any band page for them on BEA. There is one, but it doesn't show any album. I left a comment on the band's page, only to see it (so to speak) not appear on the band's page afterwards. However, the comment appears on the latest "Bands comments" on my homepage (twice, becasue I re-wrote it, as I first thought I hadn't validated it properly).
I think the problem is you can't post a band comment if the band hasn't got any album on its page, but there certainly was one at some point, and the band's page remained existant. Or am I wrong? Shouldn't the band's page be removed, or left with the album although it is not charted anymore, or shouldn't the comments be appearing anyway?
Yeah I think it's the same with albums. I left a comment for some of the albums that I had on my 80s chart. But now that it's gone, those albums aren't on any chart and even though I can still go to their pages, the comments aren't there anymore.
Thanks guys, sounds like a bug. I'll investigate and report back... (if an album/artist exists on the site, you should always be able to leave a comment for it). If you have any examples of a particular album/artist where this has happened it would help speed up identifying/fixing the problem...
