What we need is a quick fire thread about the exciting music. The innovative, thrilling and wonderful music. Something great I have never heard before. Anyone got anything to suggest?

For thrilling, exciting, innovative music.......

nobody does it better than Beefheart and the Magic Band.

So, in case you haven't heard it, I'd recommend Doc at the Radar Station. It's not that famous, but it beats a lot of Beefheart's other stuff. THAT's how good it is.

I'm going to go out on limb and suggest that you already know Beefheart...

Try Jon Spencer. He's exciting...
