Haven't seen this discussion yet...
So I understand the whole Billy Corgan inconsistancy of "an album within an album" and that they are supposed to be the same thing... BUT I don't think so. I personally think Teargarden is a million times better than Oceania. Granted I have only heard Oceania 2 times, it hasn't really won me over at all. Pumpkins worst effort since Machina, IMO.

I have only listened to two Smashing albums.. and none of them were Mellon Collie! 😲

I agree that Teargarden up to Oceania is better than Oceania. I do like the album a lot, though.

Oceania is not a bad album, but not their best. I do really like the first track though. Awesome guitar tracking, a talent people have to admit billy is probably the best at, with all the layers.
