Post subject: BER Round 1: Rakim vs. KRS-One [CLSD]
Left side, Day 5
Rakim (Eric B. & Rakim)
Repping: New York, USA
Selected discography: Paid In Full [w/ Eric B.] (1987), Follow The Leader [w/ Eric B.] (1988), Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em [w/ Eric B.] (1990), Don't Sweat the Technique [w/ Eric B.] (1992), The 18th Letter (1997), The Master (1999), The Seventh Seal (2009)
The two most important rappers ever. I went with Rakim, he was the first one who rhymed more than one syllable at the end of a line. And he is arguably the most concise rapper ever, he rarely wastes a word in a genre where artists routinely waste verses.
