2001

Muse - Origin Of Symmetry ... The Album that established the Band as Radiohead Rivals

Jay-Z - The Blueprint .... "he music on The Blueprint is sheer brilliance. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve heard a better sound in a long time โ€“ classic soul numbers from Al Green, The Jackson 5 and others " - no81bob

Fugazi - The Argument .... "Being both ear shattering and spine tingling at once, this is Fugazi at their "musical" best." - All Music Guide

Gorillaz - Gorillaz ... "Hands down, this is one of the best-produced albums of the year" - L.A. Weekly

SINGLES :

Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head ...try to listen to this and to keep you feet still ! a biological fact : impossible ๐Ÿ•บ

Albums:

Clearly 1996 has the better Weezer.

Clearly 1996 has the better Jay-Z.

1996 is Sublime (forgive the pun. Sorry, I had to.)

I'm not too keen on either of the selections... Fugazi might take the win 2001-side, but I'm not even sure... Some more thinking on the way.

Your singles are better, I'll grant you that...

EDIT: I mean, "I like your singles better than the '96 singles". Didn't mean to be so straightforward.

I was unsure until I saw Sublime. That clinched '96 for me without a doubt. Not enough love for them on this site.
