This tournament's aim is not to come to a decision on which year is best (as that would be impossible and pointless). Any arbitrary discussions of that sort is reserved for the music forum.

I can't believe there's a team including Midnight Marauders in which the bad manages to outweigh the good.
Neither team is particularly to my tastes (though may fare well with others), but I'm gonna go with 2010 on the basis that there's less that actively offends me (Tool, James, Pearl Jam). I can just about tolerate Siamese Dream, Souvlaki's a cool album, and I adore Midnight Marauders. There's nothing I particularly love from 2010, but then there's nothing I particularly dislike either. 2010.
Although I expect there's loads more to come from both years and look forward to seeing the other selections.
