- Post subject: Guess the album game
|
Here's a fun game.
Go to Rate Your Music and find the worst review(s) you possibly can for any album you like - we try and guess what that album is.
Starting with something easy.
"this album is terrible. my friend told me to listen to it because it was 'the best album of all time'.
Yeah right - not even close. this is actually some of the worst stuff ive heard. its just whiny with boring synths. sounds lazy... its no wonder you dont hear them on the radio. terrible terrible album."
"What the hell is the point of (band)'s music. You can't just throw a bunch of bleeps and computerized shit behind a whiny, nasally voice and call it music. Worst of all, enough idiots like this that people now feel obligated to appreciate it. Awful band, terrible record"
"Sounds like Steven๏ปฟ Hawkings hit single..."

It sounds like Kid A, but I'm going to guess OK Computer just because it's more popular and therefore gets more hate.
EDIT: Scratch that. It's definitely Kid A. Possibly Amnesiac.

๐ Negative reviews from RYM is the best thing ever - I've started to copy-paste them onto the albums in my decade charts (only done 90s, 00s and 10s so far, but will continue)
For this, my guess is also Kid A
