I have looked for this song for the past 20 years..I had the Vhs 30 years ago, was given to me by a salesman when I was a buyer for that chain...but I lost it and after time, couldn't remember his name. he is deep country blues.. But found him yesterday and I am soooo happy..
I realize that this isn't Arcade Fire or Flaming Lips but as the oldest member on this site, I feel obliged to expose the younger members to this music as it was the forerunner (began around 1910, it was a branch of first slave songs which branched into the Blues and Gospel) of most rock...Of course, most indie music is not related to this as it began when rock branched away from blues based rock...hope that you get something out of this.
I wish I could watch youtubes so hard right now. I'll respond with my thoughts when my new pc is delivered, which should be in within the week, maybe two.
Purple, do you like country blues or Son Thomas? _________________ โIf Jesus came back and saw what was being done in his name, he'd never stop throwing up.โ, "Hannah and her sisters" Woody Allen 1986
